The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) broadcasts all five international women’s matches between Pakistan and Bangladesh, starting on Saturday, live on its Youtube channel.
There will be an 8-camera coverage with comments from former internationals Mujahid Jamshed and Yasir Hameed (T20Is only), as well as veteran Hassan Cheema, Mohammad Salman, Tariq Saeed, Raja Asad Ali Khan, and Shamsa Hashmi.
The decision to stream the games live has been made to make cricket accessible to a wider audience, which in turn strengthens the profile of women’s cricket and contributes to the promotion and growth of the game.
The PCB had already broadcast live the finale of the national triangular one-day women’s cricket championship on September 26, when PCB Blasters defeated the PCB Challenger in six rounds.
The PCB broadcast four Quaid e-Azam trophy live-stream as part of its extended and comprehensive coverage of the 2019-20 season, while another six games will be streamed live when the tournament reopens on October 28 is recorded.
The PCB has announced free entry to the Gaddafi Stadium to encourage fans to support women’s cricket.
Fans can enter through Gate 1 and Gate 2 after showing their CNIC cards.
Fans can enter the Nishtar Park sports complex through the FIFA Gate on Ferozepur Street and park their cards in the football field car park.
