Despite being at dawn of his career, Windies star striker Chris Gayle continues to set records after being the first player to score 900 Sixes in the T20 cricket.
After a slow start to the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) season, Gayle started against the Khulna Titans, who celebrated his first half century of the season with 55 of 40 goals.
The stand was crucial to helping the team achieve a six-wicket victory, but he was also the first batsman of all time in the history of the format that shattered 900 sixes.
Overall, Gayle has so far made 12,189 runs in the format, of which 5,400 were only contributed by the six, which is quite amazing.
Another 3720 runs came in fours, when he shattered 930 of them. Essentially, that means he has scored nearly 75 percent of his runs.
The player currently has a big lead when it comes to clearing the perimeter wire. The nearest player is Kieron Pollard, who has scored 557 points and parked 484 times.
