DC started its campaign with a Super Over win against Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) before adding another win to their account and defeating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the next game. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), however, stopped their winning run.

When they talked about KKR, they lost their first game of the season against Mumbai Indians (MI). But the unit led by Dinesh Karthik recovered in style, recording two rebound wins against SRH and Rajasthan Royals (RR).

So far this season, the Sharjah venue has proven to be a batsman’s paradise, and with both DC and KKR having some of the biggest hitters on their lineup, this is going to be an interesting competition. Here is our list of players who could deliver the goods in this game.

Rishabh Pant

The wicketkeeper batsman hasn’t had big runs against his name this season and Sharjah could be the place where Rishabh Pant could score big. The left-hander would look forward to a long slap and clear the fence, and what better place than Sharjah to do that.

Andre Russell

While Andre Russell couldn’t go past 24 during the KKR game against RR, there were three hallmarks of Russell Sixes. The West Indian big hitter will itch to make it big in Sharjah, and if he does well, KKR has a chance to get a big score on the board.

Kagiso Rabada

Kagiso Rabada, who has seven doors against his name, only needs two doors to own the Purple Cap. The right arm pacemaker currently has a savings rate of under 7, and while Sharjah will favor the batsmen, with speed and accuracy, Rabada will be someone who can turn the game upside down.

Shreyas Iyer

The DC skipper will be happy to have a good bat out as his side seeks a return to the winners and scores his third win of the season. While Iyer started two games against KXIP and CSK, he has yet to play another inning in which he has scored fifty or a ton, and what better opportunity to score a big goal than the game against KKR.

Eoin Morgan

Eoin Morgan has done a good job with the racket in KKR’s last two games, once in the chase against SRH, and when KKR set up a target against RR. While the English limited-overs skipper can anchor the innings, he can also play hammer and tongs with ease. KKR will be hoping Morgan will have another successful foray against DC.
