Australia’s Ellyse Perry is the top-ranked all-rounder in the MRF Tires ICC Women T20I standings after a stellar performance in the series in England, which won the visiting team 2-1.
Perry scored 114 runs, including an unbeaten 60 in the final, and finished the series with three wickets to overtake West Indian all-rounder Stafanie Taylor. Perry is now 12 points ahead of Taylor, with a career high of 398 points and for the first time since October 2017 at the top of the table.
Australian captain Meg Lanning is another main winner of the latest ranking update, which was conducted on Thursday. The Australian bowlers, who move up in the ranking, are the leftist spinners Sophie Molineux (# 1 to # 11) and Jess Jonassen (# 13 to # 31).
For England, the six left-wing spinner Sophie Ecclestone’s lobes have placed her 10th in seventh place, while Lauren Winfield has moved the Batters’ list from 55th to 40th.
Katherine Brunt has risen in all three tables, moving up 21 places to 60th place after 60 runs and four wickets in the series, 10 places to 25th place for bowlers and 11 places to 28th place for all rounders.
