England has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming Women’s T20I series against Australia, the last part of the multi-format Women’s Ashes series.

Heather Knight leads the team, with Maddy Villiers of Essex was called for the first time in the squad. Villiers impressed in the recent series between the England Women’s Academy and Australia A.
England can not regain the ashes and is currently 8-2 in the series behind Australia. It would have to win all three remaining games to finish the series 8: 8.
Captain Heather Knight said, “It’s almost like a one-time IT20 series and we have to give it our all in the last three games, we returned to Australia in 2017 and it would feel very different when it ends in 8-8 must now be our goal and we want to finish strong. “
