England vs West Indies Final Test will go live on Friday, 24 July 2020 at Emirates Old Trafford, Manchester. 11 am local and 10:00 GMT.
England came from behind to end the series against West Indies at Old Trafford and hopes to end the series in the same location in the playoff starting Friday.
England will be at stake when it comes to series 1-1 against the West Indies for the third time this month. After a disappointing loss in Southampton, the hosts in Manchester were back in the groove and now want to make sure there are no further hiccups.
West Indies, on the other hand, are on the verge of a historic series victory. They had their moments in Old Trafford but suffered a defeat after a few listless punches on the last day. If they manage to win, it is the first test series win in the West Indies in England since 1988.
Visitors have some questions regarding their starting lineup with Shai Hope out of shape and Shannon Gabriel with fitness issues. There will also be a temptation to play Rahkeem Cornwall on what is likely to be a slower wicket as it is the second game in a row at the venue.
England are not happy with their starting XI despite their big win. The main concern is which fast bowlers to choose from with James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Jofra Archer, Mark Wood, Sam Curran and Chris Woakes. The beat group should remain unchanged.
All said and done, the weather in Manchester could be a topic of conversation again. One day was lost in the second test and the prognosis for the third test is not too promising either.
What Happened Last Time?
At Old Trafford last week, England were clearly the superior team and showed immense patience early on, before expanding their advantage with a brilliant tactical nous in the past two days.
West Indies have not had a great record in Manchester lately. They have played a draw since 2000 and lost three games on site. Their last win here was in 1988 when they won the series.
What Roddy Estwick Said?
“We’ll have a look – Rahkeem Cornwall is sure to come up for discussion. Rahkeem has prepared well. If he has the opportunity, I am sure he will do well. We will try.” to make sure we get the best combination of these 15. “
What James Anderson Said?
“We haven’t seen much of Jofra [Archer] because he’s obviously been isolated for a few days, but since he knows him as well as I do, I’m sure he wants to play in this game because it’s so important and important is. ” the series rests on it. “
