The final of the current season of the Indian Super League (ISL), the country’s top domestic football league, will be played on 24 March.
The Football Sports Development Limited(FSDL), which runs the league, announced this through a media release on Tuesday, saying that the first leg of the semi-finals will be played on February 29 and March 1, while the second phase will be played on March 7 and March 8.
However, the venue of the final match has not been selected yet. The league phase of the season will run until 25 February. ATK FC (27 points), FC Goa (27 points) and Bengaluru FC (25 points) currently lead the league table. The winner of the league will get direct entry into the group stage of the AFC Champions League 2021, this is happening first time in Indian football and ISL history.
