Kings XI Punjab (KXIP), fresh from his two super overs thrillers against Mumbai Indians (MI), will face Delhi Capitals (DC) in match 38 of the game – a team they were previously in a super Over-finishes involved Dream11 Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 at Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

KXIP has had some ups and downs in the tournament so far, but the unit led by KL Rahul held their nerve to claim two consecutive wins – first against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and then against MI.
DC, on the other hand, was one of the most consistent teams of the season. After winning seven out of nine games, they occupy first place in the points table. As they take on KXIP, Shreyas Iyer and co will try to consolidate their position.
The last time these two teams competed against each other, they played the first Super Over of the IPL 2020. While DC came out on top on this occasion, KXIP will try to secure its third win straight away.
Axar Patel had an unforgettable night with the bat when his three sixes led to a win in the final game against CSK DC. After only conceding 23 goals with the ball, the left-handed unbeaten hammered 21 out of 5 balls. Though he doesn’t have big scores or four wicket trains against his name, Axar has been vital to DC in keeping the ball tight and scoring important runs.
Here are some important players who can change the game:
Kagiso Rabada, the spearhead of the DC bowling attack, tops the bowling charts with 19 wickets from nine games. The right arm pacemaker had taken two wickets the last time DC faced KXIP and it will look to add a few more wickets to its record and lead his team to their eighth win of the season.
Mohammad Shami was brilliant with the ball in the super over against MI. The senior KXIP and India Pacer defended five runs against Quinton de Kock and Rohit Sharma and gave KXIP one more shot to win the game. At the beginning of the game, he had also chosen two wickets. In their last game against DC, Shami was KXIP’s bowler choice after scalping three wickets, and he will again be someone his side will depend on.
Shikhar Dhawan comes into this game on the back of his first IPL 100. The left-hander scored an unbeaten 101 * against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to lead DC to a win. Before the CSK game, Dhawan had scored 57 and 69 * against Rajasthan Royals (RR) and MI. The DC prelude timed the ball well and his team wants it to continue on its merry way.
KL Rahul continued his excellent form with the bat, scoring 77 against MI. The KXIP skipper is currently leading the stroke cards in the IPL 2020 with 525 runs against his name from 9 games. The right-hander has scored fifty-five and a hundred goals to date and will be keen to lead from the front and help KXIP beat DC.
