The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced a revised route for the upcoming White Ball series against Zimbabwe, which will consist of three one-day internationals and as many 20 internationals.

The three ODIs, which were originally supposed to take place in Multan on October 30, November 1 and 3, have now been relocated to Rawalpindi due to logistical and operational challenges. The ODI series is part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League.
In the meantime, the T20I leg of the tour has been moved to Lahore after it was originally planned to take place in Rawalpindi.

The visitors will be led by Chamu Chibhabha while Blessing Muzarabani returns to the international fold after two years.

“After Multan went unavailable for logistical and operational reasons, we took the opportunity to rethink the entire schedule and create an itinerary that would be suitable for the teams, match officers, broadcasters, event staff and other support agencies,” said Zakir Khan , Circuit Board Ladder – International Cricket.
“In the meantime, we are also in regular contact with the [Pakistani Meteorological] Department looking for their forecast for November smog. We will continue to contact the Met Office to monitor the situation and make any necessary changes.
“The availability of Rawalpindi has ensured that there is no uncertainty for our ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup games as we try to collect maximum points from this series to meet our goal of going straight to the 50th Over-qualify the ICC event, “he added.
