Opener Prithvi Shaw has passed the fitness test and now he will be part of the India A team in the series against New Zealand A. Prithvi Shaw will soon join the team in New Zealand. Shaw suffered a shoulder injury while fielding in a Ranji Trophy match against Karnataka. After which he was out of the match, but now he is fully fit and has returned.
A source told the Times of India that Prithvi Shaw has passed the mandatory Yo-Yo test at the National Cricket Academy. He gave this fitness test on Tuesday morning, in which he passed. He will leave for New Zealand on 16 or 17 January. Although in the meantime he will miss both the warm-up matches before the series but he will be part of the team in the first ODI on January 22.
The Indian team was not selected for the Test series against New Zealand on Sunday. The biggest reason for this was that nothing was clear about Prithvi Shaw’s injury. Now it is likely that he will be selected in the team as the third opener.

India A team will begin their tour of New Zealand with a 3-match ODI series. After this, they have to play 2 four-day matches. The senior Indian team will play two-matches Test series against New Zealand eleven days after India A’s tour of New Zealand. The first Test match will be played in Wellington from 21 February.
Let us tell you that Prithvi Shaw has injured himself earlier in Australia tour in 2018. He was also hurt while fielding there and he was out of the entire series.
