The fourth round of Ranji Trophy 2019-20 ended. In this round, if many matches were drawn, some teams also won. Teams like Hyderabad, Andhra, Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana won. In this year’s IPL auction, Abdul Samad of Jammu and Kashmir bought by Sunrisers Hyderabad played a quick knock.

Bengal vs Gujarat
The match was a draw due to rain disruptions. Gujarat scored 194 runs in the first innings and in reply Bengal scored 239 runs for 5 wickets. Rush Kalaria took 3 wickets.
Kerala vs Hyderabad
Hyderabad won the match by 6 wickets. Kerala scored 164 in the first innings and 218 in the second innings. In response, Hyderabad won the match by scoring 228 and 155/4.
Punjab vs Delhi
It was a draw between the two teams. Delhi scored 339 runs in response to Punjab’s first innings total of 313 runs. Punjab scored 44 for 4 wickets in the second innings.
Rajasthan vs Andhra
Andhra defeated Rajasthan by 6 wickets. Rajasthan scored 151 runs in the first innings and 257 runs in the second innings. Andhra won the match by scoring 257 and 152/4. Captain Hanuma Vihari remained unbeaten after scoring 52 runs.
Himachal Pradesh vs Madhya Pradesh
The match between the two teams was a draw. In reply to Himachal’s first innings of 175 runs, Madhya Pradesh scored 427 runs for 9 wickets. Opener Rameez Khan hit 192 runs. Himachal scored 285 for 5 wickets in the second innings.
Uttar Pradesh vs Tamil Nadu
This match was also a draw due to rain. Tamil Nadu scored 180 and 154 runs. UP scores 175 and 42/2. Saurabh Kumar took 10 and Ankit Rajput took 7 wickets.
Tripura vs Odisha
The match also ended on a draw due to rain. Tripura declared the innings by scoring 288 runs, in response, Odisha scored 121 and 71/1, playing Follow.
Jharkhand vs Jammu and Kashmir
Jammu and Kashmir defeated Jharkhand by an innings and 27 runs. Jharkhand scored 259 runs in the first innings. In reply, Jammu and Kashmir scored a huge lead by scoring 441 runs. In the second innings, Jharkhand were reduced to just 155 runs. For Jammu and Kashmir, Abdul Samad hit 128 off just 75 balls with the help of 10 fours and 11 sixes.
Chhattisgarh vs Haryana
Haryana won the match by 89 runs. In reply to Haryana’s first innings 123 runs, Chhattisgarh also managed only 119 runs. In the second innings, Haryana scored 258 runs and Chhattisgarh could manage only 173 runs.
Nagaland vs Chandigarh
The match between the two teams was a draw. Chandigarh declared the first innings by scoring 400 runs. Captain Manan Vohra scored 121 runs. In response, Nagaland scored 135 and 26/0.
Sikkim vs Arunachal Pradesh
This match was also a draw due to rain. In just two days of play, Sikkim scored 329 runs in the first innings. In response, Arunachal Pradesh scored 146 and 32/0.
