RCB comes into this game after their 37-run win over Chennai Super Kings (CSK). While skipper Virat Kohli led the bat from the front, the RCB bowlers did a good job with the ball to seal their team’s fourth win of the season. RCB has three wins against his name in addition to beating CSK after defeating Rajasthan Royals (RR), Mumbai Indians (MI) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

At KKR, they are set to score a hat trick with wins after beating Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and CSK in their last two games. The unit led by Dinesh Karthik expressed both wins on the back of their highly disciplined bowling in midfield and on death. While they didn’t start their campaign on a winning note, KKR has since won four out of five games.

With RCB and KKR both looking to move up the scoreboard, here are the five players who could play an important role in the outcome of the game:

Shubman Gill

The KKR opener scored its second fiftieth of the season in the last game of its team. Shubman Gill, while not playing with hammer and tongs, did play a pivotal punch to help KKR score over 160 points on the board. The promising youngster will again be someone KKR will rely on against RCB.

Chris Morris

Chris Morris played his first match for RCB and came back with three wickets when his side defeated CSK. The right arm bowler opened bowling for RCB as they were defending the grand and also played on death. RCB expects him to keep his form.

Virat Kohli

He scored 90 * out of 52 balls to get RCB's victory over CSK, and scored 50 of those runs in singles and doubles. Virat Kohli has had over 200 runs in his last three games and he will be itchy to continue his juggernaut and take another big hit.

Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik led from the front in KKR's win over KXIP. The KKR skipper scored 58 balls out of 29 and was instrumental in creating a competitive total for his team. The right-handed wicketkeeper batsman is dying to repeat his performance against RCB if KKR goes for his fifth win.

Washington Sundar

He was someone Virat and RCB turned to for bowling in and around power play, and Washington Sundar has once again repaid the trust placed in him by choosing two major wickets - Faf du Plessis and Shane Watson - for RCB to win Has. The off-spinner kept things extremely tight every time he got the ball and RCB will expect him to continue his good job.
