Real Madrid have reportedly shown interest in signing Liverpool’s prolific striker Sadio Mane as per Goal.
As per reports Real Madrid manager, Zinedine Zidane instructed his team to prepare a report on Liverpool’s striker and keep a close eye on him.
Real Madrid sees him as the biggest signing of the summer transfer window but Liverpool are unlikely to sell their forward but as per reports Real are expected to invest $172 Million on Mane which could at the end go on Real Madrid’s way.
Since the departure of Christiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid is lacking a good striker at the top of their formation. For the first time since 2014-15, Real Madrid will finish the season without any major trophy on their name.
Sadio Mane is currently in contention for the Premier League’s golden boot race with 17 goals on his name also meaning that his team is the favourite to win the league.
In the summer of 2016, Liverpool showed interest in signing then Southampton forward and eventually, the rumour turned into an official deal when Liverpool signed him for a deal worth £34 Million.
Sadio Mane recently in the month of November extended his stay at Anfield but it is likely that Real Madrid’s offer is good enough for Liverpool to let Mane go.
If this deal turns into reality, Liverpool might join the transfer window in search of a good striker as Salah has not been in form for some matches as he has only scored 1 goal in the last nine Liverpool matches.
