Delhi Capitals (DC) will regain first place in the points table on Friday at Sharjah Cricket Stadium against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Match 23 of the Dream11 Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020.

In search of their third win of the season, RR, who want to stop their three-game defeat, return to their hunting ground, where they recorded two wins from as many games.
RR kicked off their IPL 2020 campaign in style, beating Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) in Sharjah. However, the unit led by Steve Smith was beaten by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
DC has now won four out of five games. Shreyas Iyer and Co. started their campaign with an exciting super-over win against KXIP before they could prevail against CSK. While Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) DC denied a hat-trick with wins, the Delhi franchise rebounded sharply, beating KKR and RCB in the games that followed.
While DC will try to regain first place in the points table, RR will be keen to get back on the winning road and stop DC’s victorious juggernaut. These are the players who could be vital to the fate of their respective teams in Sharjah.
Sanju Samson
He set the stage on fire for RR when they faced CSK and KXIP in their first two games, scoring 74 and 85 in Sharjah. While he didn’t score big in the following games, a return to Sharjah gives Sanju Samson a chance to renew his stroke form. and if he fires like against CSK and KXIP, RR has a chance of a successful return.
Shreyas Iyer
The last time DC played Sharjah, Shreyas Iyer beat 88 of 38 balls unbeaten with the help of 7 fours and 6 sixes. The DC skipper, who has contested 181 races against his name in the IPL 2020 this season, will once again strive to deliver the goods and lead his team to a win in Sharjah.
Jos Buttler
Jos Buttler passed 1,500 IPL runs and took his 10th IPL fifty en route to a 44-ball-70-run blitz against MI. The RR wicketkeeper batsman will try to continue his good form in Sharjah, a venue that has remained a batsmen’s paradise in the 2020 IPL.
Kagiso Rabada
Kagiso Rabada has 12 wickets from 5 games and has led the DC attack with aplomb. The current Purple Cap owner picked four wickets in his last game against RCB and could play the pivotal role against the RR hit brigade of Smith, Buttler, and Samson.
