The India international centre-back who can play almost in any position of back line had offers from ATK Mohun Bagan FC rivals Mumbai City FC, Odisha FC and FC Goa but the Jhingan decided to go in favour of ATK Mohun Bagan FC to be part of their rich legacy. He was also set to go on trials for few European clubs but it is now not possible thanks to COVID-19.
