Scotland vs Sri Lanka Pre-Match Report

Scotland is set host Sri Lanka in a 2 matches ODI series beginning from today. 1st match will be live from Grange Cricket Club, Edinburgh.

Sri Lanka will look to solidify their playing eleven before the biggest carnival of World Cup 2019. Sri Lanka will play 2 warm-up matches before the main group stage starts, their 1st warm-up match will be against South Africa on 24th of May while the other one will be against Australia on 27th of May.


Scotland will not be part of the World Cup so they are going to try their best line-up.

Sri Lanka team will be lead Dimuth Karunaratne while Kyle Coetzer will lead the Scottish team, Both team is set to play 2 ODI matches one today and the other one on 21st of May. Sri Lanka will look to finish the series on high before the World Cup start.

Currently due to rain, toss has been delayed and both teams will not want the match to be vanished due to rain.

Due to the weather forecast and wet outfield the match has been abandoned without a ball being bowl even without the toss. 2nd match will take place right here at Edinburgh on 21st of May.
