On the third day of the fourth round of the Ranji Trophy 2019-2020, there were some results in eighteen matches among a total of thirty-six teams. Goa and Assam registered major victories. Apart from this, Bihar also won against Mizoram. On the third day, the rain did not disrupt and the matches of the teams who did not participate in the first two days of the game also started.
The summary of the matches is as follows:
Group A
Delhi vs Punjab
Playing in the second innings, Punjab has scored 44 runs for four wickets. They have an 18-run lead. Delhi’s first innings ended on 339 runs. Dhruv Shorey scored 96 and Nitish Rana scored 92 runs.
Gujarat vs Bengal
Playing in the first innings in this match, Gujarat scored 169 runs for seven wickets.
Andhra vs Rajasthan
In this match, Rajasthan has scored 243 runs for eight wickets in the second innings. They have a total of 137 runs lead. Andhra’s team was dismissed for 257 runs in the first innings.
Kerala vs Hyderabad
In the second innings, Kerala scored 207 runs for seven wickets. They have a total of 140 runs lead now. Hyderabad scored 228 runs in the first innings.

Karnataka vs Mumbai
The 126-run target from Mumbai was achieved by Karnataka losing five wickets and winning the match.
Tamil Nadu vs Uttar Pradesh
In the first innings, Tamil Nadu team was reduced to 180 runs. Playing in reply, UP has scored 170 runs for 9 wickets and are now ten runs behind.
Himachal Pradesh vs Madhya Pradesh
In this match, Himachal’s team is 76 runs behind Madhya Pradesh in the second innings. They have scored 176 runs for three wickets. Madhya Pradesh declared the first innings by scoring 427 runs for 9 wickets.
Baroda vs Railway
Railway team were reduced to 101 chasing 201 runs and Baroda won by 99 runs.
Group C
Assam vs Uttarakhand
Assam defeated Uttarakhand by an innings and ninety runs. Assam scored 294 runs in the first innings. In reply, Uttarakhand scored 121 runs in the first innings and 83 runs in the second innings.
Tripura vs Odisha
Tripura declared the innings by scoring 288 runs for six wickets. Odisha team have scored five runs without loss in reply.
Jharkhand vs Jammu and Kashmir
Playing in the second innings, Jharkhand is 79 runs behind. Jammu and Kashmir scored 441 runs in the first innings.
Maharashtra vs Services
In this match, Services won by an innings and 94 runs. Maharashtra were bowled out for 147 runs in the second innings, scoring 44 runs in the first innings. Services scored 285 runs in the first innings.
Haryana vs Chhattisgarh
Chasing a target of 263 from Haryana, Chhattisgarh scored 33 runs for three wickets.

Sikkim vs Arunachal Pradesh
Playing in the first innings in this match, Sikkim has scored 274 runs for six wickets. Yashpal Singh hit an unbeaten century.
Chandigarh vs Nagaland
Chandigarh scored 400 for six in the first innings and declared the innings. Manan Vohra and Raman Vishnoi scored centuries.
Meghalaya vs Puducherry
