Sana Mir was the first Asian cricketer to appear in 100 women’s T20Is. With two blows, she played her role with the ball. Nida Dar and Anam Amin were in the limelight with Sterling appearances as Pakistan returned and the third and final T20I against West Indies won by 12 runs.
Pakistan had been eliminated in the first game of 71 runs, but in the second half they squeezed West Indies hard and built the match before Deandra Dottin played a major role. In the third phase they kept their game on.
Dar’s 53 first brought her to a strong 150 for 6 and Amin then picked up three wickets to stop the West Indies at 138 for 8. It was only her second T20I victory in 12 games against West Indies now.

After Pakistan had won the litter and decided to bat, Javeria Khan pushed early to the limits, before he was released. Umaima Sohail and captain Bismah Maroof added 34 runs to quickly get the team on track.

The answer from West Indies started badly. Amin sent Kycia Knight back for a duck, and I was followed shortly after by Shemaine Campbelle. There was a fight, led by Deandra Dottin, who scored 46 in 29 balls, but with frequent goals, Pakistan was always ahead. Amin scored 3 for 34 while Mir came in 2 for 21.
The two teams now compete in three ODIs to be held in Dubai. The first is scheduled for the 7th of February.
