The Royal Rumble will be held on 26 January (27 January in India). It is one of the biggest PPV in the WWE. In Raw and SmackDown, the build-up for this is happening continuously. Several big matches were announced. At the same time, many superstars have also announced their entry in Men’s Royal Rumble match and Women’s Royal Rumble match.
Fans are always on TV just in wait of this PPV. Because this PPV consists of a Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble match. In which 30 superstars take part. It is known as the 30 Man Battle Royal.
WWE also debuted the Women’s Royal Rumble from 2018 and since then has seen the Men’s and Women’s Royal Rumble matches. Whoever wins this match gets a shot for a straight championship match at WrestleMania. Earlier, the Royal Rumble winner would get to face WWE Champion in a championship match at Wrestlemania in the main event. The rules are still the same, the winner gets to face the champion but it is not guaranteed that it will be the main event.
Road to WrestleMania also starts at the Royal Rumble and this PPV is of great importance for this reason.
A lot of matches have been announced for the Royal Rumble which includes Daniel Bryan facing Bray Wyatt for the WWE Universal Championship. Womens champion Becky Lynch will face the lady against whom she has many defeats, Asuka. Many superstars have also announced their entry for the Royal Rumble match.
