Bangladesh all-rounder Mosaddek Hossain believes his team will be the favorite against Sri Lanka when they meet in an ODI series with three games starting on 26 July.
Bangladesh have never won an ODI series on Sri Lankan soil, but after his impressive performance at the Men’s Cricket World Cup 2019, Bangladesh would certainly make amends.
“I think we are the favorites against Sri Lanka,” said Mosaddek on Thursday, 18 July. “We are in a better position than them both in batting and bowling, and if you speak of experience, then we are in a better position in this area as well.”

Bangladesh has recalled Wicket Keeper batsman Anamul Haque and left-wing spinner Taijul Islam in his 14-man squad for the ODI series against Sri Lanka from 26 July.
The 23-year-old had scored a 24-ball 52 * and helped Bangladesh to a five-goal victory in the rain-shortened Tri-Series final against the West Indies in Dublin.
