Badminton player PV Sindhu had to be satisfied with the silver medal in the Indonesian Open. She was defeated by Japan’s Akane Yamaguchi with set of 21-15, 21-16. World number-4 Yamaguchi and world number -5 PV Sindhu’s match lasted 51-minute. It was the 15th match between PV Sindhu and Akane Yamaguchi. So far, Sindhu has had a wonderful record of 10-5 against Akane.
Sindhu defeated Chen Yu Fei of China in the semi-final match on Saturday. In the 46-minute match, Sindhu had defeated World No. 3 Fei in straight sets 21-19, 21-10. It was the eighth match between Sindhu and Chen Yu Fei. Both have won 4-4 matches so far.
