In a number of global T20 players selected for World Cup selection, the West Indies’ selection must make some tough calls. We list some of the key questions they need to answer when naming their 15.
Chris Gayle, the seasoned opener, has been in extraordinary shape in a one-day international cricket season. He beat two centuries and two fifties out of four innings against England in the last series of West Indies. He has taken the form into the IPL and it is guaranteed that a place of West Indies, the XI.
His partner in the series against England was the debutant John Campbell, who was promising, but could not build. West Indies will also have the option of Evin Lewis, who has a reasonable ODI record, but has not played any ODI since July 2018.

Ashley Nurse was the most successful spinner with 42 wickets from 45 games with 43.26. Although he does not have big numbers, he also seems to be a certainty for the team. But Windies might want to have at least another spinner in the squad.
