Thirty-two players started on Friday morning and ended the game on Sunday. Only one of them was still available: the FIFA eWorld Cup champion “MoAuba”.
The Werder-Bremer started as PlayStation No5-Seed and won its first world championship title. He was the first German to win the grand finale.
What makes Mo’s performance all the more remarkable is the tremendous resistance he had to overcome to get the trophy, especially in the knockout phase.

First Day
“MoAuba” had a good start to their eWorld Cup campaign and ended the first day in highly competitive Group C. The German’s confidence was high after being scored in his first four games against the PlayStation giants “Goals”, “Tuga “‘stormed to victory’, ‘LevVinken’ and ‘DrErhano’ before losing his last game of the day against ‘Ustun’.
Despite the loss, Mo still ended the day at the top of the pile. Asked about the opportunity to go all the way on the opening day, the eventual champion first downplayed his chances.

Second Day
While “MoAuba” may have started the second day slowly, losing his first two games against “Nicolas99fc” and “Marko” and finishing third at the end of Group C, the always smiling fan favorite made a big statement in the knockout competitions.
First up was last year’s PlayStation champion ‘Pinna97’, who lost 3: 1 in total before the Werder Bremen player sent a big message to the rest of the competition by winning the FIFA eNations Cup winner ‘Maestro’ in the Quarter with 5: 1 defeated finals.
“I’ve been here twice already and have both reached the top four, and now I’m in the console final,” he told FIFA.com after the game closed on day two. “It’s a great feeling.” I am really happy. Third Day
Mo looked as if he would have a foot in the final showdown after his 4-1 win in the first leg of his semi-final against “Nicolas99fc”. However, “The Iceman” made an impressive comeback in the second leg, forcing the game to extend after a late goal gave him a 4-1 win.
The extra time went to penalties and MoAuba, who had long been waiting for the win over Nicolas99fc, showed his tournament know-how by winning on penalties.
Thanks to his victory over the PlayStation No1 Mo stood in the final against the defending champion “MsDossary” on the test.
A draw over the Saudi Arabian on his preferred console gave Mo a solid upper hand for the return leg – and the German finished the job, winning the PlayStation side of the final 2-1.
“I played against the third, second and first player in the world in PlayStation and then had to prevail against the current owner, I defeated all these champions and can not believe it.”
