The second day of the seventh round in the Ranji Trophy 2019-20 has ended. Madhya Pradesh bowler Ravi Yadav, while creating history, took a hat-trick in the very first over of his Ranji debut. Apart from this, the second day’s games could not be held in many places due to rain.

Group A
Bengal vs Delhi
Bengal scored 318 runs at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Delhi’s score is 192/6 in reply and they are still 126 runs behind.
Kerala vs Andhra
In reply to Kerala’s first innings 162 runs, Andhra scored 255 runs to take a 91-run lead.
Hyderabad vs Rajasthan
In reply to Hyderabad’s 171 for the first innings, Rajasthan scored 135 runs. Hyderabad scores 101/6 in the second innings.
Vidarbha vs Gujarat
Vidarbha were dismissed for 142 in the first innings. Umesh Yadav played a quick inning of 25 runs off 12 balls. In reply, Gujarat scored 211 runs and Parthiv Patel scored 58 runs. Vidarbha scores 89/4 in the second innings.
Group B
Baroda vs Saurashtra
Saurashtra have scored 23 for 2 in the second innings and they still need 177 more to win.
Mumbai vs Himachal Pradesh
The second day’s game could not take place due to rain. Mumbai have scored 372 for 5 wickets in the first play. Sarfaraz Khan is unbeaten after scoring 226 runs.
Madhya Pradesh vs Uttar Pradesh
Uttar Pradesh scored 216 runs in response to Madhya Pradesh’s first innings of 230 runs. Saurabh Kumar remained unbeaten after scoring 98 runs. Madhya Pradesh bowler Ravi Yadav showed his skills by taking a hat-trick in the very first over of his Ranji debut. MP’s score is 105/3 in the second innings.
Railways vs Karnataka
Railways have scored 106 runs for 7 wickets, batting first. The team shared a 97-run partnership for the seventh wicket.
Group C
Odisha vs Assam
Odisha scored 436 runs in the first innings. In reply, Assam have scored 59 runs for 3 wickets.
Tripura vs Maharashtra
Maharashtra scored 208 runs in response to Tripura’s first innings of 121 runs. Tripura scores 166/3 in the second innings.
Chhattisgarh vs Jammu and Kashmir
The second day’s game could not take place due to rain. Chhattisgarh has scored 270 runs for 4 wickets.
Uttarakhand vs Haryana
The second day’s play could not be held here due to rain. Uttarakhand has scored 109 runs in the first innings. In reply, Haryana have also lost 5 wickets for 50 runs.
Services vs Jharkhand
Services scored 279 in the first innings. In reply, Jharkhand have scored 145 runs for 9 wickets. Rahul Shukla took 7 wickets.

Chandigarh vs Puducherry
Here too the second day’s game could not be held due to rain. Chandigarh scored 134 runs in the first innings. Vinay Kumar took 6 wickets while bowling brilliantly. In response, Puducherry has lost 4 wickets for 37 runs.
Goa vs Arunachal Pradesh
Goa declared their first innings by scoring 589 runs for 2 wickets. 4 players scored centuries on behalf of the team, two of which are unbeaten. In response, Arunachal’s team were reduced to 83 runs in the first innings and lost 3 wickets for 19 runs in the second innings playing the follow-on.
Sikkim vs Manipur
Sikkim scored 169 runs in the first innings. In response, Manipur was reduced to just 91 runs. In the second innings, Sikkim has set a target of 345 runs by scoring 266 runs. In the second innings, Manipur has scored 7 runs without any loss.
Nagaland vs Mizoram
